Let me see if I can get this done now. Just as I posted the good morning electricity blinked. Good news about Ida--as you can see is not hitting LA we will have tropical force winds and heavy rain most of today and into tonight. Bad thing is nothing works right in the Parish after Katrina. We will be without power off and on for untill this is over. That is a bummer. Also LA is on the west side of storm and that is considered the dry side. I will be here when I can. Hope everyone has a very good day. Sorry for you guys in Al, GA, and FL.

Latest Pic of storm--has been down graded to tropical storm good news for everyone---bad news still high winds and lots of rain. Flooding very possible. Do fool with mother nature LOL
You can see just how close it came to us. Too close for comfort. Power just came back on had been off for about 30 min. Thank goodness for the rain and wind LOL see a silver linning to every cloud. More when I can post.

Got my coffee thermos, my kids are home, let Ida blow and get out of here. LOL All this is expected around 6 or 7 tonight. Not much sleep for me with all this going on. We are having some pretty hard rain and blowing winds now. My little town is already covered in the pic.
