Whoa, that's not the tea pot I'm looking for!

We're starting the week out right with our oatmeal.

Still windy. Gust to 40 today.

Well, that hurricane is heading for me! It is weakening a bit since the water in the Gulf is cool, but they are taking all precautions around here. School is closed for today, but I have to go in to help get things "hurricane-proofed" - move electronic stuff away from windows and cover with bag trash bags, mostly. But they didn't say what time to come in, so I guess I will show up at the regular time and hope others are there.

So thanks for the nourishing breakfast, SF! I think I'm going to need it!

I just checked my school email, and they don't want teachers to come in after all - it's a good thing I checked! So here it is, not even 6:00 and I am wide awake with a cup of strong coffee in me already. Maybe I will go to the beach later to look at the surf! I'm sure there's some housework I ignored over the weekend, too.

good morning y;all. Off to work after a wasted weekend struggling with the mayhem of having my Uverse service set up and all kinds of problems and glitches!! As of this morning, the box attached to my bedroom is still reading on screen "client unprovisioned" and that is the box with the DVR. And still can't receive incoming calls on my phone! The last time I talked to a tech was last night about 6 and the long and short I can get out of them is the problem with the box in the bedroom is that it is not reading on their end that I am registered. And the incoming phone problem they say is an equipement problem out side of my home maybe where the terminal is for this area. Now they say it should be fixed in 24 to 48 hrs, and it has already been over 24 hours from where I count from Sat. installation.
At least I still have my cell phone, the tv downstairs is working from its Uverse box, the house phone can be called out on, but not get calls in, and the computer internet works.
Off to work and hoping for better things to come!
