Hi LadyClaire - I have some cognitive challenges myself due to a disabling condition. I have been welcomed here and made to feel at home, so I'm sure you will be also.
Welcome LadyClaire1,
I believe you will enjoy yourself here. A good group with lots of great conversation!
Welcome ! I am very happy to see that the group is thriving with wonderful people and their perspectives. RD
Hi LadyClaire. You sound like a fun person to have around.
Thank you all for the many warm welcomes. I live on Vancouver Island in BC, Canada, and I recently read in the Farmers' Almanac that sunspot activity influences the type of weather we have. Yes, really. For the first time in 75 years, we had a white Christmas last year, and I was thrilled. This Winter is expected to be colder than normal, which means for us, snow. Well, I know that doesn't make some people very happy, especially those who must drive in it, which I don't. I'm looking forward to snow this year, our Autumn has been very nasty with high winds and much rain. It's like we jumped from Summer to Winter with nothing in between. How do members feel about having snow in their area this year?
