Finding Balance

How does one find the balance between the chaos of the world and living a peaceful existence, especially when the very system that allows us to find peace and happiness is under assault in America?

I often try to leave politics out of my life but find I am drawn back in because of my love for America and what I see happening to her. Yet it causes me to lose my peacefulness inside and at the same time I know that wrongs in this only thrive when they are not confronted and challenged, so I can't be silent or ignore it all.

Anyone else fight this battle?

Do not watch anything negative, you know it exists, so why dwell on it, drawing more of the negative things to you.

You need not be around depressed, whoa is me people, choose not too.

Change the subject when people are talking negatively, even if it is their health, it is not good for them.

Have you not notice that people who speak about poor health, has it?
People who talk about lack of money, have lack of money?
People who speak about making money, have it?
If you are content with you life as it is and do not want for more, that is what you get, more of the same.

It is Law, what you think about, listen to, is what you draw to you.
Use you emotions to know when you had bad feelings and avoid that thing.

Practice, it will not happen overnight, constantly practice.

The law of attraction in action Chillinjoan! I love it and it works.

In thinking about the challenge of balance from my own perspective, I believe that when we take time to enrich the relationships we have, become involved in community, and return to our spirituality, a balance will come naturally.

Yes, it can be quite the challenge to detach from mass consciousness. But, Chillinjoan is so correct. Where your attention goes, that is what you bring more of to yourself. That doesn't mean turn your back on your fellow man/your country, like celebr8life says, get more involved in a positive manner within your family, friends, and community...those of like minds. This doesn't mean you're pretending negative things don't happen, this means you are choosing not to participate in it. The more people can grasp this concept and influence others to grasp the concept, the more people will engage in the positive aspects of life with you.
