You know, I have to agree - I finished it last weekend.....it was enjoyable and interesting but it almost seemed as though it was a recycling of DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons.....
Amazon's customer reviews of the book have 317 neutral ratings, 547 high ratings, and 752 low ratings. Not very outstanding for the world's best-selling book.
i liked it. i liked angels and demons better than the da vinci code. angels and demons is still my favorite of these 3.

I agree. Angels and Demons was the best of the 3.
I'm 60% through it ( according to my kindle) and I'm disappointed.

Well, this is all very logical, those who liked the other 2 books are disappointed somewhat in The Lost Symbol, while I, who didn't like the other 2, especially Angels and Demons, really liked The Lost Symbol a lot. LOL
I just finished the book, it was not an easy book to read. i keep picking it up and laying it down. There was so much numbers and symbols that i lost it and had to go back and reread parts of it. i am glad that i read it, but would not concere it the best book that i have every read. some good parts!!! not one of Browns best.
I liked The Lost Symbol far more than his other two.
