and very ready to settle in and watch some TV, do a few prep items for school and then get a good night's sleep!!! At least that is the plan.....lol....

It was a very nice day in the park....almost all the leaves are down, but it still looked and smelled like fall and I ended up working in a T-shirt, it was so warm! I took care of the items on my list from the PB member and then took care of a couple more as well for a 5 hour day.....there actually could be a bit more to do on Wednesday afternoon, but we'll see.....the extra cash is nice but I may have burned up my desire to work any more hours...

Well, time to think about something to eat - wife and daughter are "shopping", so not sure the sub will be on the menu.....I'll find something, but Pat's BBQ sounds pretty good - guess that cannot be sent via EONS????!!! LOL.....Ok, time for the local and national news.....I'll be back later...TC

Hey TC..glad the day went well,but its about time you started getting burnt out on working exrta!

Wish I could send you some of this BBQ beef--it came out excellent!I picked up a couple of nice extra lean roasts while on sale. Had a great price on them. Made a roast for supper the other night,so I took this one and cut it into chunks,threw it in the slow cooker with a touch of Liquid Smoke,some brown suger,and bbq sauce,some diced onion,garlic and peppers..and let it slow cook since late last night. Serve it up on toasted burger rolls with some potatoe salad and it was really yummy!

NOW..as for getting into the holiday spirit..... They say misery loves company,BUT..joy is contagious! The past few years Christmas has been kind of tuff..living here where I still dont know many people outside of work,and with my kids and grands living too far away to get together with them. As a matter of fact,I am not quite sure what I would have done these last 3 years witout this group and the great friends here. My circumstances havnt changed any,yet for reasons I know not,this year I feel better and more hopeful,and have more spirit than I have in a very long time! And that seems to be true with lots of folks.Soooo we are going to drag you along with us and get you humming Christmas tunes before you know it!LOL...
