Planted my fall tomatoes and peppers. We need rain.
Reheated some ribs I smoked. Craving some fries to go with them but will stick with the Healthy Weight vegetable mix. they're good. Really, they are. :-D

Geez, Sue. Busy busy bee. I took the "only" dog on a hike. Now have to check out the social.
I am making macrame bracelets for girlfriends for christmas. My fingers are a little more clumsy than back in the day.
Beautiful autumn day here today, slight wind is blowing the yellow leaves to the ground. Yellow snowstorms.
I love the photo too! We have a resident heron in the lake where we hiked today. Wish I hadn't spotted the plastic bottle in the water.

We had 62 glorious degrees yesterday. Spiderwebs hanging between branches and on my porch. The leaves on the ground look too pretty to rake, but alas! What must be done...
Raked six large paper sacks full of leaves and put them out by the road.
Now starts the serious stuff: gather up the hostas in containers, other perennials in pots. Line them up against the north side of the house and cover them with two feet of leaves. Lean fences over them to form a little, safe lean to. put them to bed until next year.
But first, twelve hours of work.
