Political Correctness Aided Shooter
According to the news reports, the shooter responsible for the attack at Fort Hood is described as follows;
He is an officer in the US military.
He was not a combat vet.
He wasn't cutting it as a doctor and was getting transfered to the front.
He was running around in a muslim religious outfit prior to transfer.
He blogged about praising suicide bombers.
He yelled the same religious phrases our enemies use during his attack.
He plotted and killed unarmed innocents without remorse.
Am I politically incorrect to point out that he was either the worst example of an enemy mole infiltrating our military or the best example of our government and military "looking the other way" so as not to offend anyone?
If the Taliban or Al-kida had some guy in their midst who praised the USA, dressed like an American, and was named John Smith or Billy-Bob Jones, do you think they'd look the other way?
There are crazy people all over th place, perm. I'm a little skittish, though, because of things this guy said that even NPR reported.
It doesn't matter either way. He killed soldiers--he killed people, he created terror, he is a terrorist and he is a Muslim. And I think the fact that the FBI was watching him and he was on Terrorist websites all add up--if it walks like a duck.
I wouldn't say anything about the Catholic guy, and there is no teaching in the Catholic church that can remotely be construed as go out and kill people as there is in Islam, but you can bet that the people on here who put down Christianity as evil would.
But, everyone can bend over backwards to deflect. I'm happy he was taken down.
And I am not painting with a broad brush. I am talking about THIS GUY only. Hasan. Period.
Your Charley Manson Reference has nothing to do with the context of your previous post which said
" The man who killed the abortion doctor--remember him? I remember people in this group saying he was making a statement for the right to life fanatics and heads were nodding and agreeing with each other. I believe Bill OReilly was the named the cuprit who preached that that crazy man should kill the abortion doctor. Anyone remember all the conclusions people jumped to in that incident?
Why are some conclusion jumps okay, but others are not. I have always found that interesting."
In other words, there was no " jump to a conclusion ". And again, I don't throw stuff against the wall just to see if it sticks.
But please, do maintain on. ~Smile~
No, Crest, Catholics are unlikely to shoot up an Army processing center. They do, however, belong to groups that throw bombs into abortion clinics.
I don't throw stuff against the walls to see if it sticks......I have found the shit don't stick too well to these padded walls. Must be like teflon.

Charles, I beg to differ. You posted the crazy abortion guy saying there were more killings in store, and I posted a crazy guy saying there were more killings in store. My Charles Manson reference has EVERYTHING to do with what you said. It's the same logic.
Perm, And some Muslim sects preach the killing of Americans, so what's your point. So why defend this Muslim man and not defend the crazy Catholics? I don't see what the difference is if it's not political correctness. It is okay to say negative things about Catholics and Christians, but not OK to say bad things about Muslims. It is OK to say negative things about rednecks, but not OK to say bad things about inner city subcultures.
We all know this is true. It is tacit and goes unspoken, but it is as true as my name is J--well whatever my name is.
" Kerry - having been taught to shoot in ROTC by the gunny, I have a little bit of understanding on the issue " Perm
If the gunny didn't know that you cound aim a pistol, you were under the wrong gunny. A machine gun is an area weapon, but a pistol is not.

" Charles, I ran the video on FoxNews. They never said that anyone should kill Dr. Tiller, and everything they said about Tiller was true. Nothing that they said about Tiller should have been protected information. I heard force mentioned, in the sense that Tiller should have been forced out of business. MSNBC and Huffington Post say the same thing about FoxNews.

Well, maybe those poor Catholics had a reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeason. Maybe something happened to them and they snapped. Maybe they were out of a job or had to go somewhere they did not want to go. I say we wait until all the info comes in on the Catholics who bomb abortion clinics. That would be the fair and just thing to do.
The abortion issue, as it applies to this topic, is that abortionists don't enjoy the PC protection that islamists do. Abortionists kill little people who are innocent and defenseless, with impunity. Islamist terrorists like Hasan kill from hatred and religious fanaticism, so they are considered by their peers and sympathizers to be justifiable jihadists, with a cause to promote.
Hasan was nothing but failure who decided to end it all, and take as many of the people he didn't like with him. Beware the loser who has nothing else to lose. PC kept his superiors from placing him in protective custody for examination and analysis. He would have raised a ruckus from that custody, and since he had committed no violence thus far, the Army would have been in an indefensible position. You can never stop these people until after the fact, under our present system.
