For Those Closet-Less Homes

Some older homes and even some plans for new small homes DON'T HAVE ENOUGH CLOSET SPACE!. Oh, pardon me, was I shouting? Sorry.

But you all know by now how I feel about closet space.

Well, how about this for an idea. Ikea sells this stuff called a PAX system. It's a system for creating wardrobe space for rooms. view link

It starts simply enough, with this:

It comes in all kinds of sizes, view link and then you customize it for what you need.

They have the best ideas for storage, I just wish the store was closer to me. I have to make a day of it to go to Atlanta to shop and plan ahead so that I can take home what I buy.

TNtransplant. I have the same problem. The Ikea store is a days drive from here. I go to NJ twice a year and always spend a day there. They have good quality for the price. I've had things shipped but that can get costly.

I have been looking at a couple of their book shelf units. Haven't made up my mind yet though. Good place to shop on line too.

I on the other hand am glad the store is not conveniently located to me, because I would probably fill my house with stuff that I don't need and then have to deal with more stuff to get rid of.

I hear you Sandl. That's why I go to the one in NJ. What ever I buy has to fit in my luggage on the return trip home. LOL
