Been riding in Denver all this week the weather has been in the 70's ; last week we had a foot or more of snow, and I put my bike away. ???

They always said when I lived there...if you don't like the weather in Colorado, wait around a couple of minutes, it'll change. It's so true!

We've been that way in the 4-Corners, too. But, y'all did have way more snow than us! Wow! I didn't put the bike away, but did the summer clothes......got them back out last week. They are now side-by-side in the bike drawer. Rikitiki3, I really like what you said they say about the weather in Colorado, may have to borrow it.

Here are a couple of pictures to back up notbubbles comments on Denver weather.
This picture is my apartment complex parking lot on 10/29/09. I had 18" of snow. Denver proper only received about 12", but I'm at an elevation of about 6,000' in Lakewood, a western Denver suburb.



But, this is Colorado as Riki mentioned. No less than 8 days later the weather was great. Time for a bike ride. I think it hit 77° that day.

I headed out to the bike path along the South Platte River about 9 miles south of the downtown area on 11/6/09.
