Time For Lights

It's supposed to be in the high 60's today so we've decided it is a perfect day to string the lights on the bushes in front of the house. Usually we're out there doing it in mid-December with winter jackets and gloves. Should be much easier today.

Fall weather for most of this week (50-65) and then cooler toward the end. May have a sprinkle Tues. or Wed.

Our leaves are just about all down now so we can clean up the yard in earnest. One more mowing, a little fertilizer and we're all set. Also have to bring in my two bird houses for painting during the winter. Still searching for a "plower". (And a shoveler too)

Time for a second cup and then off to the P.O. to send back the latest Netflix. Watched "Flash of Genius" last night (I think that was the title) About the inventor of the intermittant windshield wiper vs Ford Motor
Co. Pretty good film. Anyway, I'm off. Hope you all have a great day. John

Sunday greetings John, a head start on the Christmas lights might not be a bad idea, but I may wait until Wednesday afternoon.....today I need to get back to the Park and complete some items they would like done, but the "Sup" hasn't been around to do....

It's 57 at 9am and supposed to reach 78 for the high....not bad for November.....well, have a good one and we'll look for you later....TC

AH HAH!! I was just saying to my niece yesterday that I am going to go ut this weekend and get the Christmas decorations for the store out of the shed. It seems like everyone isgetting a little earlier a start to the Holidays this year.

My bird houses could sure use painting, but I think they are still occupied!

I haven't done lights since my husband died, but I'm thinking of running a string along the porch and maybe put my chile pepper lights around the back door. If there's a day this week when it's not too cold or wet or windy, I'll probably do it.

I'm still thinking about raking leaves once more, but haven't decided.

We don't put up lights outside, mostly because I can't do it myself and Richard has no interest. And anyway, no one would be able to see them but us. We might stick some candles in the window. But I have already been digging through the Christmas stuff trying to find things for the tree for the hospital which gets auctioned off for the auxiliary.
