House Vote....

The House passed H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act last night with a vote of 220-215. One lone Republican voted for the bill, Joe Cao (R-Louisiana). Thirty-nine Democrats voted against it.

Earlier, the House passed an amendment to pending health care legislation that prohibits federal funds for abortion services in the public option and in the insurance "exchange" the bill would create. There are exceptions in the amendment abortion would be covered by insurance in the instance of incest, rape or health of the mother.

The vote passed 240-194.

I'm already sending my love letters to my Senators and hate mail to my Representative...worthless piece of shit that Rehberg is.

I want the names of those thirty-nine Democrats that voted against it....

Oh yeah and I heard on the local news that Rep. Rehberg is challenging Sen. Jon Tester in the in 2010....

I DON'T THINK SO, Denny. Time for him to RETIRE.

Move On .Org. Has already received over 3 million dollars to find someone to run against any Dem Rep who chooses to filibuster the bill.
I think that the tea parties and other side shows will go into an even more discusting mode in the next few weeks. I hope the administration has some better answers to this problem.
They need to get a clear synopsis of the plan to the voters. Fight back.

I have heard that the mandatory insurance thing is still in this bill that passed. Is this true?
