To use my kid's expression:

What a train wreck we have now! FAIL!
It would be nice if the onus for this bill fell onto those who voted for and supported the politicians who made this possible....but unfortunately everyone will have to pay for this boondoggle.....except for those who don't pay any taxes at all....or, in other words....Obama's base.
He is working the Hugo Chavez model to it's fullest. Offer more people government jobs and free money for those who don't work at the expense of the (successful) rich.

I don't think I'm anywhere near rich; perhaps successful at what I do, but I know Mr. O will be expecting me to support the non-working class and the poor. It just may be time for me to be a part of the non-working class too. Ya know, it's all free these days if you are one of them. (Non-working class=those among us who refuse/choose not to be gainfully employed.)

Obamacare
What did you really expect?
As I've traveled around it is truly amazing how many believe this is "FREE" Healthcare.
When people are taught they are "NOT" really responsible for their actions and decisions then you have a nation of children who will trade freedom for the false belief of security. " HI! I'M FROM THE GOVERNMENT AND I'M HERE TO SOLVE ALL YOUR PROBLEMS". TRUST ME!!!!!!!
How sad !
As Mtn Girl said, the many, many of us who work hard because we believe in take care of ourselves and our families now and after we die, will either have to pay more to the non-working Obama voters or figure out how to depress our incomes...which will eventually translate into less revenue, and more taxes !!!!
It's now law yet. The Senate still has to tweek it and vote on whatever the result of that tweeking is. At this point, those of us who are against this bill must make every effort to let the Senate know that WE DO NOT WANT THIS OR ANYTHING EVEN CLOSE TO IT!!!!! They must know their jobs depend on their vote. Additionally, we must make sure the Representatives who voted for this pay for it with their jobs in 2010.
It is a train wreck, but are you really surprised at the vote?
Arky has it right, we need to let our senators know it may be time for them to polish up their resumes if they vote for this potentially destructive piece of garbage.
I thought it was interesting that they had to remove the abortion portion that wasn't in the bill.
