I thought I saw it running up ahead
but then it turned and rushed by instead
I strained to catch it as it fled
I've been trying since I rose from bed

It's irking me half to death
I just cant seem to catch my breath

Southerly winds prevail
Rolling the bay up and over the roads
Flow on
Autumn changes never fail.
Sighing days wander down earth's abodes
Ebb now.
Sunset rests in the water
Driving slowly into it, crossing over
