Poor poor Ressie

My baby has a Doxie's worst nightmare, an injured back.At first we thought it was a UTI because she would scream when she peeed but it wasn't the pee causing the pain it was the pain causing her to loose it and pee. The vet gave her an ultrasound to rule out bladder stones (no charge, what a doll)and fiddled around with her back oh so gently.Viola, he found the spot that is hurting. She is on bed rest with anti inflammatory/pain meds for 2 weeks.Trying to keep a Doxie still in a crate for 2 weeks, this should be fun.
He seems to think it is just an injury at this point and not degeneration. Your love and prayers will be appreciated.

It would because she could help explain to her she isn't being punished, she is being protected!

Reese is doing very well this morning, no pain at all. As a matter of fact she is sleeping in the big bed, I have to go put her back in the crate.
Thank you everyone ( =
