The link is not working right, tc, but the ironic thing is that I just made a post about this a couple of hours ago. How did this guy , who was being watched by the FBI, who made a pro Islamic speech at a doctor's convention, who had problems relating to people ( yikes--and he's a psychiatrist?) not be pulled aside or pulled out of the ranks? It had to be because of political correctness. God forbid anyone acknowledge the fact that the majority of radical Muslims are between the ages of 17 and forty, etc. etc.

Like I said earlier, the guy couldn't cut it. I saw types like him when I taught juvenile corrections. They had all the techniques in the world, but they couldn't deliver. Worse, the kids knew it and the feasted on the teachers. It had nothing to do with politics. It had everything to do with personal failure.

This guy should have been dismissed from the Army long ago.
He clearly was unbalanced and slowly coming unhinged and letting everybody know it!
Somebody didn't do his job.
It may very well have been "political correctness" instead of "common sense."
This is another one of those cases where everybody knew something was wrong, but noone was willing to step up to the plate and do what needed to be done.

Doesn't seem odd that most of what we see as political correctness is an effort to mask criminal behavior and shield the parts of the population with the very highest criminal activity
