I m spend days alone. It comes with the job.Lonely nope I got a cat named him Prozac then added Paddy then Belle.Between driving I read watch TV play on the internet. One learns to fill the empty holes. PMOM
I don't get enough alone time, so the time I do get I relish.
I take care of folks at an private adult home, NO alone time there, I have a hubby who works from home so he is here much of the time. I am fortunate to have my kids close by, and love having my granddaughter as often as possible. But with all that, the alone time is extra sweet when it comes.
Robin is at work during the day so it is just me and the critters then. Time passes quickly though with my writing, photography, and other assorted things to do. Too much time socializing becomes stressful. Too much time at home alone can also be tedious. So I try to mix it up.

I am a loner by nature. I think it comes from having grown up in such a large family that time alone was not a common commodity. But I also like to get out and socialize at times too.
I like my alone time....I have a roomate now, had an x-husband,lived in communes, lived with family members - and i was always the quiet alone time that I cherished the most, to do nothing, something, everything without questions or involvements of raised eyebrows LOL ! Now, I do love company, always have been a social butterfly, friends at work, coffee with a neighbor - but now it seems that I am trying to catch up to all the things I never got around to and that has turned me into this lone wolf personality. But, its' a good thing ! The only time that I share with no qualms or quibbles is the time I get to spend with my daughter - but, she tells me I drive HER crazy !
