Great idea. I don't know about the dime thing, tho. I didn't see that on anyone else's, so I'm not going to do it. Also, all of mine are sold, but I didn't see anything about that. Sounds like fun.

I went back and checked the winners of this contest, of which I wasn't one of, and was surprised to find the original painting that won first place was a painting that listed for $7,500. not surprising considering that the painting was can you believe this???? 36 x 48 inches. It really isn't too difficult to paint a huge painting like that then shrink it down for an ACEO contest and have it look really good. Boo

I agree. Boo. I thought the "O" in ACEO meant "Original". Since when did a copy of an painting become and original? Maybe someone should educate the judges of that contest. Or maybe one of us should send in a shrunken image of the Mona Lisa for their next ACEO contest.

The people who start the contest can take out any image if they don't follow the guidelines.
Most of the contests are voted on by FAA members and the public.
