This week sounds like it will be fantastic......hope it lasts through the weekend. Lily, I was thinking the same thing in those buckets. There is a lot of cash in those trees! Black Walnut wood has a good price to it.

Yes, I have some black walnut trees. I sold about 10 five gallon pail-fuls of nuts and maybe have 6 or so pails setting here and left many more for the squirrels. Later if no one wants them I dump them for the squirrels.
More Sun and warmth today. Great for the house heating situation. A hot spell like this occurred about the same time last year.

When I lived on Lake Nagawicka, the house was surrounded by them. I didn't know then what they were, or that they grew as they did. We left most of them for the squirrels and spent time getting them off the drive/walk ways. The tree trimmer informed us of these valuable trees.

Beautiful here too, I have a shrimp stock cooking on the stove to make creamy shrimp soup this week.
