POEM OF THE WEEK 11-7-09 photomagic

And the Grass Grows by photomagic. A poem almost overlooked. Simple in its wording, but deep in its meaning. Thank you photomagic. A photo accompanied it but I was not able to capture it here. --PJ

And the Grass Grows

grass is ripped from its roots and dies
while after our life underground we lie
and the grass grows

collecting the cut fragments into neat rolls
patches of clouds summons our souls
still the grass grows

billions of stars dot the evening eyes
suddenly rain is released from the skies
until darkened sky fades into morning rise
and the grass grows...
