I have gotten Quilters World for several years and have made a number of things from it. I also get Fons and Porter Love of Quilting but don't find as much in it to my taste and am letting it run out.
I like American Quilter, and Quilters World. I, too, have dropped F&P. My guild collects everyone's mags monthly and we exchange so we can just pull one pattern we like or a whole mag, without having to have a subscription. Some folk will borrow one, copy what they like and return it the next month. So many magazines seem to be just reasons to advertise new fabric, not to show new techniques or patterns.

Currently I'm receiving McCalls Quilting & American Patchwork & Quilting. I like both. I used to get Quilters Newsletter, but dropped the subscription. There are some amazing quilts, but not ones I'm ready to tackle. I used to get Fons & Porter.
I get Quilters World, American Patchwork and Quilting and QuiltMaker. I've let most of the other ones runs out. Right now, I'm into finally doing my Dear Jane and have a few blocks done and trying to get my pink and white SBS finished.
Oh I can't decide. I like to look at all of them, read the tips, and settle on some of the patterns. Usually a magazine subscription is what I ask for in a gift. No I don't like Quilting Arts, to artsy for me - maybe too much talent needed for me to do it.

WOW great response. I will give this a little longer and tally up the total. I think it will be interesting to see the results :)
I too have dropped Fons and Porter. Love Love McCalls Quilting and Quiltmaker.

I get Fons and Porter. I just love the "This Old Quilt" column, but I agree that most of it seems to be advertisements for new fabric lines. Don't know if I'll renew, although I still get excited to see it in my mailbox.

I enjoy Fons and Porter and use a lot of patterns from Quiltmaker.
I currently have a subscription to McCalls Quilting magazine. But some of the magazines I have on hand are older ones I have picked up at garage sales. My quilting friends and I share and exchange magazines now and then. The old magazines are fun because they have sometimes have patterns in them that you wouldn't think of like how to put together a quilllow and have old style designs in them.
I am getting American Patchwork & Quilting right now and have also dropped Fons and Porter. Over the years I have had Quiltmaker and others that I forget. Now I go on line and look at different sites. I get All People Quilt and About Quilting by email. I have found some really neat patterns online.
