lady turtle......if you're going with the eons gang, prepare yourself for fun. I was a first time cruiser when I went on the very first singles Love Boat cruise and had a great time. I'm glad I got one of the cheapest cabins on the ship because I didn't spend much time there. Not sure what other advise you want or need but mimosas by the pool was something I wish I'd done from day one.....LOL
i agree with ad, the more mimosas poolside, the better! just relax relax and relax. and then if the spirit moves you, join in one of the never-ending activities. lord knows there's enough going on each and every day your head will be spinning with all the choices! so in other words, a cruise will be all YOU want it to be. on the practical side, don't bring too many clothes. you won't need them, and the cabins are smallish with not too much storage room. leave the big heavy fur coats and ball gowns at home. casual, shorts, flip flops, bathing suit, slacks and tops, and a sweater and windbreaker are the thing. keep it simple. and there is shopping on board, in case you feel like wearing sequins one night at dinner.
