Paper Towels

I saw a Consumer Report study on paper towels. They tested Kleenex brand, Kirkland (Costco) and a brand I had not heard of yet, called "Seventh Generation."

The Seventh Generation paper towels won "hands-down" for picking up spills and food such as peanut butter with just one towel, and the paper towels are made from 100% recycled material. They listed a 3-roll pack for $5.69, but with not using as many you save money. They said sorry, Kirkland, not as good for the price.

I am finding out more and more that Walmart may be more of a money-saver store than Costco, especially with coupons and no membership, also with its $4 generic medications.

seventh generation is a major company which uses all recycled materials, doesnt test on animals, and uses no harmful chemicals. go online to their company, and they have a coupon section. their products are also very concentrated. so less bottles and packaging is used. a bottle of their "more expensive" dish detergent for example will last you 3 times as long.

i recommend them.

now with paper towels, i cant help much. never use them. rags are just cheaper and better.

I'm wrong about Seventh Generation being made by Marcal. Their recycled brand is Small Steps. It is all recycled and I have used their products for years.
