Hypocracy/...The Media and Ft. Hood...

Taking their cue from the White House, the Networks and most cable channels are defying reality yet again in their attempts to downplay the fact that this was an act of Islamic Terrorism.

Hasan was shouting "Allah Akbar" as he murdered his fellow Soldiers. He had cleaned out his quarters, even giving away the food from his fridge. He posted a blog glorifying Islamic Suicide Bombers. He had stated publicly that the War on Terror was a War on Islam. He badgered his fellow Soldiers with the "Glory" of Islam.... and on and on and on...

Just imagine the furor if he had had a Bible in his hand as he was shooting, and was a devout Christian. The Media would be screaming their heads off in their condemnation of Christianity.

This PC double standard of awarding "Protected Victim Status" to Radical Islam is beyond silly or stupid, it will cost more American lives.

The man was an Islamic Terrorist, Nothing more, nothing less.

It's past time to start telling the truth...

He is more than a terrorist Fly, he's a traitor. I hope he lives because that will prevent him from attaining martyr status.

I hadn't heard this about him. I bet the news came from the non news network..FOx?? My gut feeling was that is was religious when I heard his name and religion affiliation. When will the people in the USA realize this religion is hateful and destructive? HOw fooled so many are.

Thanks for posting this Fly! I'm with you!

Actually it was NPR, the "liberal" station, that ran this story about Hasan exploring his radical leanings.

Their is PC going on in the press. I noticed it with the man who ran over his daughter because she was Westernized. Not one venue said he was Muslim. They merely said he was Iraqi.

There were hearsay comments by "unauthorized" sources that were published in the mainstream media that the shooter was a radical Islamic. There were also "unauthorized" sources who stated he wasn't and gave other reasons for the shooting. Personally, I'd rather wait until this has been investigated. I've complained before about the press in their zeal for 24/7 news releasing unverified info that they later have to correct.

I have, however, been pleased to see the stories playing up the individual stories of heroism - from civilian cop who risked her own life to take down the shooter, to those military personnel who stayed under fire to treat their fallen comrades.

We should waterboard Hasan and get the real story right from the horse's mouth, IMHO.

You're right, M. They really are a band of brothers ( and sisters).

And kudos to the woman who took him down.

I heard it on the radio Zorro. There is also a video of him at a convenience store Thursday morning and he was dressed in Islamic prayer clothing.

His actions of giving away his worldly goods speak volumes about his plans. This was not someone who suddenly flipped.

Ya know, police, firefighters and soldiers risk their lives every day. That's why they're heroes all the time.

Whatever the man was, he was mentally unstable. I dislike it very much when the whole of one religion is tarred with the same brush. I have Muslim friends who are anything but terrorists. They are normal nice people. So please.............its just the same as calling all Christians extremists. It is just NOT so.
Yes this man was Muslim..............if he acted alone or not is not the issue..............I too hope he lives, and pays the price for this act of horror. Each one of these people bring shame to their Faith. I dont know how they dont see that, but thats fanatics for you....they will never see truth and will never face up to facts. Much like the extreme political viewpoints. Maybe its just people who are fanatics of all kinds that are the problem and always blame someone else ?????
