The things I believe in strongly I have come to by way of proving them to myself. So I suppose I am an open minded sceptic. Having found something I believe in then I am a true believer.
Depends on the situation and the person. I can be one or the other. More one than the other.
I believe what I believe, coming to that conclusion with research, until then I'm a cynic.
There some things I am skeptical about mostly those dealing with human nature.

I have swallowed some beliefs hook line and sinker only to come to know it was bull hocky and consequently have become very cynical. I also have a naive streak a mile wide. Mutually exclusive? No. I take people at face value untill I prove myself wrong and then the cynic comes out and makes me more cautious. I want to think the best of everyone but it`s risky. There is a little girl inside me that leads with her chin and sometimes I don`t keep her hidden very well. LOL

Juanitatho that is not a bad thing. I have been called a "pollyanna" but choose to look for the good in people and situation. The bad is easy enough to find.
Both! I am very skeptical by nature and have learned after repeated incidents that God is and there is no doubt, so that is more than a belief and rather a knowing ...
Rickydale, I agree with you l00%. God IS! All I have to do is look outside my window at the beautiful blue sky, or hear a baby laugh, or think of the wonders of the human body to KNOW that there is a Higher Power. Thanks for expressing it so well.
