I have polled the moderators, and we have all agreed to lift the ban on political postings. This will be for a trial basis. All postings of political nature will be watched closely by myself and the moderators to ensure they remain civil. There will be NO name calling, and NO threats. We understand that people will always disagree, and tempers will flare. But don't let your tempers cause you to say things you might regret. Read what you are about to post, and take a few minutes to calm down before you post your replies. Make sure you are saying what you REALLY want to say. Understand that people do not always agree with you. You can't force them to change. As long as these postings remain civil, we'll keep the ban lifted on political messages and replies. Our dear friend Linda imposed the ban mostly due to myself and another moderator. We have learned from our mistakes, and will ensure you don't follow our lead down that road. We all respect Linda's decision, but we also felt that we were taking away freedom of speech. So, we are trying to make amends here. Any uncivil comments will be removed promptly, and the message thread will be terminated. Let's be responsible citizens and curb our tempers. Thank you. -Islandstylin' and moderators
