Full time....you either are or your not.........can't be it if you don't live it........it is a life-style and mind set........Not sure I would or could be just a weekend or part time hippie....To me,that isn't really a hippie at all........
I'm a full timer .. but am being under utilized due to the lack of other full time hippy women in the area.

Well I have a life-style that is somewhat different then most all folks I grew up with-I have been known to try certain Herbs and substances-[just to taste them]-am somewhat of a loner-yet I do enjoy setting at a somewhat quiet bar sipping a Margarita and eating peanuts, especially if they are playing Jazz-seem to engage in conversations, sometimes by accident with-what I would call non-freaks! Am somewhat quiet-unless asked my opinion-[they deserve it if they ask me]!! Like good wines and Swiss Cheese-[hard to find]-enjoy making wines also. Hair is longer then most all folks-[getting less each year]-I know-as well as beard-can't tolerate arrogance and stupid-closed minded folks.
Guess that makes me a full-timer??? I think-possibly-what day is it?
Cheers
I agree, it is definitely a mind set and way of life that you carry in your heart and head with you daily throughout life. I love it, and know no other way. But there actually are folks out there who consider themselves a weekend hippie...they don't have a clue.
Get frustrated sometimes that a daily work week is required, stuck inside- looking out; but even there, they view me as sorta "different", was introduced once as a rock star..lol.
I have a close friend who is the personification of the word Hippie- he works for about six months, socks most of his earnings away, then goes nature camping and "trippin" through the country for the other six months; but then has to clean out before the drug test for the work cycle to begin again.
My kids know they were raised by a full-time hippie, that's for sure...my ex hated it...perhaps why his name is "ex".

There is no such thing as a weekend hippie.
Nothing wrong with shy Vicki- we celebrate the differences or become clones.

Sounds about like me.
We all have our own reservations I suppose...nothing wrong with that- tis what makes us unique.
