Cold Clear Day Colorado Style

Last Sunday, following the big snow of last week, I drove up to Lookout Mountain. Lookout Mountain is where Buffalo Bill is buried and it overlooks the Rockies to the west and Golden and the Coors place to the east. I shot these Sunday morning with a 300 zoom but it was pretty windy so they aren't as clear as they should be. What a grand day it was.

Thank you so much for the pictures. It looks very crisp and brrrrrrrrr. Lovely view I can almost hear the wind blowing. What a lovely trip for a weekend ride.
Colorado is a lovely state. How do you handle winters there?

Espirit, I'm here for the winters. I love cold, snowy, winter weather. We had a major snow storm last week and I loved every minute of it (with the exception of the ice on the roads). :-)

I dont like the snow so much simply because of driving in it. I do not mind the cold. I like to see the snow and enjoy it for a time. Six months is too much though. I am hoping that we have a mild winter this year. Today is 60 degrees and sunny....cant beat that for November in Michigan.
