What are the simple things you miss the most about childhood?

I miss never having to worry about paying for things. I miss having my meals fixed for me and getting full after just a few bites. I miss reading for hours on end with no responsibilities to interrupt.

I miss seeing my cousin's every weekend, playing with them...
Now I rarely ever see them. There were 2 families that I / we were very close to durning my childhood. Life has changed so much...

I miss my siblings and my parents. I would love to see some of my childhood friends and I think of them often.

I miss going to amusement parks and carnivals. I miss the wild roses and the old abandoned orchard where we could pick all the apples, cherries and pears we wanted in season. I miss playing cowboys and Indians and hide and go seek with my friends. I miss the days when the world seemed nicer and safer.

I miss when everything was right with the world because mom and dad were in charge. The bggest worries were the boy I had a crush on and whether or not I passed that math test!
