Sherlock Holmes of course is my favorite because he is a classic detective who always got his man with the help of Dr. Watson. :)

Well I am not to familiar with Miss Marple; but, Mr. Poiret was okay. Neither of them could compare to the duo of Sherlock & Dr. Watson. Charley Chan came closer to Sherlock's expertise I think.

I like them all, but I love Miss Marple. I also liked Charlie Chan, especially when he had his son with him working on a case. Then it was comical when Chan got the look on his face, which said his son just "didn't get it."

For an old who-done-it I would have to choose Sherlock. My favorite movie of his is "Hound of the Baskervilles"
