I am working here at the shore here in the Wildwoods. Things are starting to pick up. I think it has to do with the low prices now. Anyhow, I will keep you posted about what is going on here.

Things are starting to pick up in Santa Clara County, California too. I'm seeing lots of examples of multiple offers in the $350K price range (first time homebuyers).

Here in Atlanta we are getting muliple offers on foreclosures. Our inventory is finally coming down. September stats reflect about 1,000 pending contracts that did not close. "They" think it is because the lenders are not as liquid as previous. I beleive it is our short sales that are not closing because of the banks. It seems the new trend here is having the banks pre-negotiating the list price and approvals in advance. Great improvement! PM7
