I like the first photo. The rug isn't as busy as the other one. Goes better with your coach.
I agree with sue.. see you got a eagle claw piano stool... I have one too.. never thought of using it as a table ... looks good. Aren't area rugs great.
Well, I like the second one best, seems not to take away from the rest as much. Otherwise, I saw the rug before anything else, but thats me. Like the picture above your couch.
Hi HG, a job moving, eh!! Glad you're getting settled and we can see your smiling face here again!! I like the first rug best... goes with the couch much better than the other!! Picks up complementing tones from the couch and vice versa. Love that rug!!
Both rugs are very nice. The first one has such a large pattern compared to the pattern on the couch, that it overwhelms it, It would be perfect if the couch was a solid color.
The second rug compliments the tone of the floor and side chair and yet has accents of color to go with the couch.
I would use the second rug. I'd also add a pillow or drape a lap cover that is the same color as one of the colors in the couch and put that on the side chair.
Gosh..... I have to agree that the couch would match better if it was a solid color....
I like the Gold one with the room Overall and the hardwood color on the floor and the wall color..... but the gold rug kind of clashes with the couch...... tough call.
Hey HG, I vote for the second rug...I like the smaller print with the couch and I agree with Catriona that a pillow or throw on the side chair would look nice. I think the dog goes well with it all. It all looks very comfy.
I like the first photo, too, and if you are tired of either rug, let me know. I'll take it o ff your hands.
Hey Cindy Lou. Good to see you and Jujugirl here. It is very comfy, but I wondered about the tones of the first rug and the tones in the picture pulling better together. I like both rugs. It's a hard decision.
The pups are really enjoying it out here.
