"Never forget: the secret of creating riches ..."

"Never forget: the secret of creating riches for oneself is to create them for others." — Sir John Templeton: Pioneer global investor and philanthropist

You know the story of Bill Gates. From a score of 1590 out of 1600 on the SAT to dropping out of Harvard. Then founding Microsoft and becoming the world’s richest man. But there’s something that’s usually forgotten about his story. He didn't climb to the summit of success alone — he carried millions of people with him. People from all walks of life who were able to prosper because of him. Find your own path — but make sure it's wide enough to handle all the lives it will change. Your Future You awaits.

This is so true! Even to the extent of expressing the gratitude for someone else's triumphs and expression compassion for others. I was telling my guy friend that one of my lady friend's son was being deployed to Afghanistan. Even though he did not know her or her son, my friend immediately said he'd including her son in his prayers along with his son who was stationed in Afghanistan.

Two days later, my guy friend's son suddenly came home for a few days.

By supporting others, we support ourselves. It's a great system and there's no magic to it. It just IS. Sharing a wealth of talent, money, imagination, or whatever it might be brings it back tenfold. Cool.
