The Space Elevator A Step Closer
The Space Elevator first envisioned by Konstantine Tsilkovsky in 1895 during a trip to Paris (while viewed the nearly completed Eiffel Tower, he turned it upside down in his mind and imagined it hanging from space) has taken a small step closer to reality.
