Time will help on the garden hoses.....he's still a chewing puppy. The chewing should begin to be less durin ghis 2nd year. Bailey and Zoey stopped chewing up everything in sight between a year and 18 months. They like card board now...and had a field day last week when I cleaned out a closet and tossed some old shoes. They had a blast with the boxes.
No help here. You are going to have to store the hoses. It's a fact.

No hoses left to store. Hope they have a BIG sale on garden hoses next spring!

Cut the hoses up into one foot lengths. Makes cheap play toys. Not to worry, Home Depot will sell garden hoses cheap next year. Hopefully by that time they will have grown out of it?
Delilah & Joel
I had several lengths of hose lying around that last years litter had destroyed. Interestingly, this most recent litter wanted nothing to do with them. I literally stuck the hose pieces in their mouths, pllassh, off to something else.
go figure

The good news is they grow out of that. Harley goes to town now on rawhide, or the "Kong" Toys.. Hee is so chewy, its not funny !!

I'm not sure, but maybe if you scolded him with a no chew with the hose, then give him a raw hide chew and tell him this is "Rem's chew." Might work. Sometimes like a kid, they need to know what is acceptable to chew and what is not. Can't hurt to try.
Good luck!
