It's Coffee Time!

Hi Everybody!
I hope that you are all bright and chipper on this beautiful morning? It's cold and frosty but we have the promise of a warmer weekend. What is on your agenda?

The coffee is piping hot and I added some pumpkin spice to the blend. How about some good muffins to go with that? WE always have the good rich roasts perking too. We have a nice selection of goodies and conversations here in the shop.

Today is the first day that I have good in over a month. The pain is subsiding so going to the chiropractors has worked. A few more treatments and the my neck will be moving full tilt. He said it would take time and I don't understand how his treatments work but they do. The heating pad has been my constant companion. I will always have bad arthritis but if I keep moving I can feel good. It's when we give up and become sedentary that problems begin for many us.
We all have to fight being a "couch potato".

This picture was taken at the Fellows Riversdie Gardens here in Youngstown. This formal garden is usually filled with bulbs in the Spring and they used hay, cornstocks and pumpkins in the mums display. The building in the background houses an art gallery, restaurant, horticultural library, banquet rooms and gift shop.
If you are ever in my neck of the woods I would be most happy to take you for the grand tour.

I hope that you all have a beautiful weekend and enjoy.

Cheers!
Annie

Blustery and rainy here, so anything hot fills the bill this morning. At least it's too warm (in the 40's) to snow.

Glad to hear that you're getting your mobility back, so keep up the good work. I believe in exercise because I know how stiff I get just sitting here at the computer--all my joints seem to lock up.

If things go right, I'll be coming to Canton for a visit next fall and expect to get to Youngstown to visit a friend, so who knows, I may take you up on that grand tour.

It's a beautiful, sunny day in upstate SC. Low of 37 and it's now 63. Should be a great night for football between Clemson and Florida State. It's on ESPN.

I'm so glad to hear your neck is getting better. Chiropractic does work, at least on some things. It's a slow process though.

Annie, glad to hear you are feeling better. I know from experience that neck pain can lead to headaches.

We had a wonderful camping weekend with our Good Sam group. The wether was cool & sunny & we had a wonderful Thanksgiving pot luck dinner Saturday night. The hostess for the weekend made breakfast cookies & I made apple breakfast brownies. Both went over well with the steaming coffee. I have asked for the breakfast cookie recipe as it is healthy. Made with honey & has raisens & dried cranberries.

We are off later this afternoon to my daughter's for a cookout for our 4 year old grandson's birthday.

Hope youall have a blessed Sunday!
