mtdona, I'm afraid my thought are going in the same ugly place as yours. This should never have happened. But I will pray for the families that lost loved ones, and the soldiers who were wounded by this pig.

I am very sorry for the victims and their families as a result of this tragedy, they are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I am increasingly disappointed in the leaders of this country in Washington, who are more inclined to stop and think have they hurt someone's (some culture's) feelings, insulted them, rather than being 100% behind our military, the actual men and women who are fighting, and paying the ultimate sacrifice, so others may sleep peacefully in their beds. To think that our loved ones put on a flak jacket and pick up a gun for this.

I''m a lucky one My daughter and son-in-law are at hood. I called her as soon as I heard the story and she answered the phone with I'll call you later Mom I'm ok. When she did call back later I was able to ask about her husband and he was ok too. Needless to say Thanking God was at the top of the list for the rest of my day.

I'm so glad your two Soldiers are OK, Ladyflower!!... I hope they adjust emotionally and get through this tough time...I Thank them for their Service!!!
