I'm in North Carolina and thought I had hit the jackpot.
Found an ad for a cord of split, cut 16", seasoned oak for $150/cord. After calling and questioning, found that what they were calling a cord was a "face" cord. Which is actually 4' x 8' x 16". Really 1/3 of a cord.
Making an actual cord $450!
May start paying for my trips back to Maine by hauling firewood! lol
