Naw, it is what it is. Of, course I'm only 53. But I doubt I ever would, don't like pain or medication. I've earned these gray hairs and laugh lines.
Nothing...and untill I win a lottery it will stay nothing.
Absolutely, I did. I started with plastic surgery on my nose and then I went to my mouth and I did all of this at 2 to 16 years old. I started young, but what can I say....LOL
i am shocked at the fact that breast jobs are graduation gifts for wealthy girls and 30 year olds are using botox...
it is crazy
used to say no way yet maybe - like to think not though except in the job market it would be better for me to appear younger and hipper...

NO..it's all me lumps and bumps & folds...just more of me to love!
Cheryle that is very good way to look at it.
Im with Mary-takes $$$. I use to feel that way, right up to the age of (almost) 57-now.... Everything is fallin and...I hate the neck wrinkles thing! Anything else I can handle. :)
Pickedadlily and Mum, totally agree......love it or leave it! Plus, if I started I know I'd never be able to stop...it would be one thing after another!!
Vicki, you are soooo right! What's wrong with some of these parents? Put your foot down, stop being so vain and say, "NO"...afterall, you are their parent(s), not their best friend...and, exactly what message are you sending, by allowing it for cosmetic purposes. Now, medical necessity is a different story!
Never had anything done and I won't do anything unless I win the lottery. If I did have excess money though I'd get smaller, perky boobs. I'm not crazy about my neck or the beginnings of jowls or the ex smoker's lines above my lip or droopy eyes, but I doubt I'd have anything done except boobs, and that would be more for my own comfort and better fitting clothes.
they are doing a remake of logan runs. remember farah fawcett and gosh i can't remember who else - everyone is beautiful and on the 30 birthday they have a reborn ceremony (where they get killed). some sneak out of the manufactured environment and see an old guy at a library... they are amazed at his wrinkles...
the ability to make ourselves look "perfect" will likely be another way the rich will be set apart from the poor... and since middle class is dissipating the polarities will surely be astounding unless something changes.
