Good morning....

We have about 5 inches of the white stuff, enough so the city plowed the streets ! It's a little early for my taste, but right, who am I?
Got my car back late yesterday, haven't done any more than just drive it home,it was getting dark when I got it. Whew !! I missed it so much !!
Sent an email to my son to tell him and got one back, they are in Ct at one of the casinos !! Celebrating his and hers birthday and their anniversary all at once.. They take the ferry over from Long Island ,NY.. It's a great ride, I've been on it before..
Got to go shovel and clean off my car....already ..
Enjoy the day..

So glad you got your car back.

Oh no, 5" snow already? Is it staying? I'm headed to Maine on Monday (hitched a ride with a friend from Alabama who's going home to Maine) to pick up my Firebird. It doesn't like snow. Hate to get there and have to fly back!

Have a good day, at least you're not snowed in with no vehicle.

Good evening C&D. Glad you got your car back. You must have missed it a lot. Heard about the snow. Heard there were different amounts in the area. This is early for snow.

Keep the snow where you are, okay? When the garage had my car for a day and a half, I missed it too, even though I hadn't planned to go anywhere. I'm happy you have your car. The things we depend on.

Snow...wooo. And the best way.........loved it when it snowed at nite and one waked up to a winter wonderland......that melts away before you really have to go anywhere.

Hi Cut and Dried---I don't know where you live in Maine, but I'm glad I am not there! I live in Portland and haven't seen the "stuff" yet. I grew up in the western mountains of Maine where there was always lots of snow, lors os skiing and other fun activities. They don't seem as much fun anymore and I don't really want to go through a second childhood and play in the snow again. Have fun with it!!

In Topsham we had just a frosting on the ground............all gone as soon as the sun hit it. I'm content to just hear about your snow for now. I hope it holds off until after Thanksgiving.
But it is one of the beauty sights of Maine.
Eat your hearts out, Florida!

I live in Waterville and most of the snow is gone, just a few little piles here and there where the sun don't get to melt it..
