Was Dobie Gillis and Maynard Krebbs a spin off of this show? Or is my memory whacked?

Not a spin off. There were some actors hired for Dobie but not as direct to be called a "spin off."
Dobie and Maynard gave us a show to relax and laugh with. Every week.

Hey, Gort, good to see you. Thanks for the info, it's been awhile since I've seen either show. I really thought something was a spin-off somewhere in connection with them. Yep, wouldn't it be fun to see those on television today.
