What a week.....

and it's not over yet!! Friday shouldn't be too bad, but we've a day long fundraiser that includes my basketball team playing in the AM and "working my shift" in the afternoon....yeah, a long day.....at least tonight's ballgame was moved to a different night, so I'm getting a bit of a break.

I'll be sure glad to see Sunday arrive....hope youhave a good one....TC

I agree! What a week!!!

Over 30% of our students out with the flu on Monday. School closed and cleaned Tuesday & Wednesday.

Returned Thursday but had PD in the afternoon 45 minutes away.

This morning a temp crown popped off a molar so I scrambled for a sub, wrote up sub plans and emailed them. Now, waiting for a return call from my message to the dentist. Hope they're not closed today.

What a week!!!

Aggghhhh, nothing worse than dental needs!!! I hope you found an appointment??? Sounds like your flu issues were much worse than ours....had some out and many times for up to a week, but never more than 10%....hope we've seen the worst of it, but read the other day this may just be the "first round".....hey, hope the weekend is a good one for you...TC

My dentist's office was closed today but he got my message and I was able to have the temp glued back on. I was so grateful that he came in to open the office just for me. And I hear my sub did a good job today. It still means that I'll have to commute in tomorrow to clean up my room and get everything ready for Monday. Ick!

It's really frustrating in my region right now with the flu. We finally have vaccines but only enough for pregnant women and children at risk (asthma, etc). But tonight on the local news the clinics were complaining that they had left over vaccines because people aren't taking advantage of them. The people who want them can't get them and the those who are eligible aren't going to get them!!!

I'm sorry to sound so negative. It's just been a very stressful week.

the St Louis area has had a shortage as well and when a clinic opens up, it's usually overwhelmed with people....thankfully we've still not seen much in our rural county....

Hope you get things organized quickly from the sub....I'm off to work a few "extra hours" in the city park (may summer job that runs into the spring and fall).....hope to relax tonight with Extreme Makeover (one of my favorite shows) and then maybe an old movie from our DVD cabinate...have a great week....TC
