I couldn't agree with you more. It seems like the whole judging system was off this season. Something just isn't right this time. I don't understand why Donny gets so much attention, he's been dancing all his life!!!
i think this season may the last for a lot of people. it is not the same as when it first began. i think it is about rating not skills.
Len just wants to disagree with Carrie Ann and Bruno. After all, he praised Michael Irwin's waltz and it was terrible, as were most of his dances, except the dance-off he was in. Yes, Mya should not be held to a higher standard than everyone else. Why don't they hold Donnie to a higher standard? He has more experience than anyone else. I think the top 3 will be Donnie, Mya and Joanna (Derek).
I agree ...Scoring all wrong....Too many contestants. Remember when we had less and each had more personality...The there was always a few that could not dance but we loved to see them return for the entertainment...until the finals. Now recently the judges don't even pick the right ones!!!!!.
I agree it's not as good as in the past. We're not seeing all the dances and there are too many group dances. I did enjoy Team Tango and Team Doble, though.
Me....I'm gonna be the only one who favors little Aaron. I keep voting for him, 'cuz he's started from scratch, and he is working so hard. I pegged him in the start for having potential, and he hasn't disappointed me. I like Kelly, but she is a whiner, and yes, she's inconsistent. I think that's why Shawn beat Giles last season; she had to work hard, and, no matter how hard Giles worked.....he made it look easy. I'd rather root for the little guy who's working his ass off than someone for whom it seems to come easy....like Mya. I do think Mya will win this competition. She's a natural. However, let's not forget she's in the music industry....it's not like she's never moved to music before.
And I don't think Donny is sliding through. The judges, particularly Len, can be picky with him. He's inconsistent, too. And even though he's in music, too.....he's never done much more than sway back and forth onstage. The Osmonds were never known for their dancing. Marie a little, maybe, but not the boys. They dance pretty much like "white boys". White men can't jump......and most of them can't dance, either.
Ditto on everything above. But I do think Mya is the best and deserves to win. It takes a lot of work to make it come off looking easy, even if people think it comes naturally. That's what it's about, the best - not the "most improved".
