I've been following it. It's so tragic. I'm horrified by the attack and want to know why it had to happen.

I just heard about it--I live about 40 miles from Ft. Hood--very scary

I've been reading about it too... what a tragedy. I've been horrified recently to read about the rising suicide rate among American military women and men. Maybe we need to take care of our own a little better before cleaning everyone else's house.

i was an Army officer for over 28 years & was once the Deputy Commander of CID & Deputy Provost Marshal at Ft Hood & this horror-story has hit me hard.
(i still know a lot of the law enforcement/emergency service personnel there.)

nonetheless, those of you who want to "get out of" the current wars against the FILTH are UNknowingly setting us all up for a NASTY/long terrorist war here in CONUS.
(i truly hope/pray that NOBODY "in authority" is DUMB enough to follow your UN-knowing/foolish advice.)

tell me, "peacelovers", would you sooner fight the terrorists in Austin, Dallas,Galveston, Houston and/or YOUR town OR would you prefer to fight them elsewhere??? - those TWO alternatives are your ONLY choices, other than outright surrender to the HATE-FILLED jihadists.
(may i gently remind everyone that 9/11/01 was in the USA & that we had attacked NOBODY prior to that time?)

the ONLY honorable course is hunt the 2-3% of Moslems (who are the hardcore terrorists) down, where ever they may be & KILL them. the jihadists do NOT want peace- they want to destroy everyone who does not accept their perverted version of Islam. - not opinion. FACT.

the unvarnished truth is that there are NUMEROUS terrorist cells & "slepper agents" IN the USA as i write these lines. = the various state police forces, FBI & USMS have foiled over 50 terrorist plots (that's the ones that i actually know of) in the last year!

the average citizen had better "wake up & smell the coffee" & DEMAND that the congress/BHO stop stalling, making silly excuses for doing nothing & ATTACK the criminals/terrorists that are HERE & abroad, wherever they may be.

i wish that i was wrong, burt i'm correct on this.= there is NO other acceptable alternative than find/kill the criminal terrorists.

I agree otter! An uninformed or misinformed citizen can be as dangerous as a terrorist. Only when we stand together against this common foe, can we prevail. I work for one of the hospitals where the victims of Ft. Hood and their families were flown to. I saw the looks on their faces of sadness and anguish as they arrived. I am tired of hearing people run Bush down about his policies and actions, What we as average citizens dont know, probably keeps him awake at night. There is no telling how many lives were saved here in America by his (by their account) "senseless" war. To all you bleeding hearts, What if it had been your town? Your neighbor? Your family? Support our men and women in uniform and stand up for this great country! Shake a soldier's hand when they pass you. Give Blood. Take pride in being an American! If you have such a big problem with our country, get the hell out!
