I want to know more about Cedar Crest Ice Cream and where it's made or where I can get it (Chain store?) I happen to love Culvers but if I can't have that, I will go get some Edy's Slow Churned Light in the round tub at the grocery store. (reg $5+ - Walmart price $3.78) Many delicious flaves but my personal one is Carmel Delight! It is so rich and creamy that you wouldn't even know it has 1/2 the fat calories - like all of Edy's Light ice creams! How DO they do it? I may just ask a cow.

Cedar Crest Ice Cream I believe is from Cedarburg, but they have a plant and ice cream shop in Manitowoc. Cosmic knows that area, she could verify this and probably get us directions and times so we could all meet there for ice cream. Their pumpkin ice cream is the best I have ever tasted and they only have it around this time of year. I didn't know Blue Bunny made a cinnamon flavor ice cream. That sound good. It is available all year round?

Yep....I grew up in that area of the "Big Cow" Cedar Crest dairy. All you do is take I-43 to the Newton St. Nazianz exit.....go East on county trunk "C".....till you get to County trunk "LS"....go North on "LS" and that turns into 10th street when you get to Manitowoc. Cedar Crest is on your left.....a huge brown and white cow is out in front....you can't miss it!!!!

I will put it on my list of Summer Road Trips - for 2010! Sounds like a nice drive and I can hit other places on the way if I plan and map out my trip...I like doing that. Thanks again.

Now, how do we get back on the dang list? lol
I don't know how to tap dance and my plate spinning is no longer very good! :0)
