Yup, this one is perfection--inside and outside. I love the floor plan. It has the 'Craftsman' feel to it too. I give this A+++
I like this one, too. Lots of storage. Bathroom within shouting distance of the bedroom.
This one is a real honey, I love the floor plan and Joy is right-- it has real Craftman feel. It has some nice details, lots of storage. I really like the covered lanai. And, having the loft, with stairs no less, gives more space downstairs for an open look. Very cute!
Yeah, it's got lots of storage. Looks livable. On a scale of 1 to 10, where 10 is as good as it gets in this space/time continuum, I'd give it a 7.5. An 8, even.
Great find KaiS, It is compact without sacrificing comfort.
I think the dining alcove is way too far from the kitchen. It would become my office area.
Put some stools up to that area beside the fireplace and eat there would be fine.
This house is really cute. I love the porch but I agree with LaylaTX. The dining area is too far from the kitchen. I would probably end up standing at the counter to eat. I also need an office area.

On the other hand, dining alcove-wise, how far can it actually be from the kitchen? Twelve feet max? Maybe 14? Hard to say without dimensions on the specs, but really, it is not all that far. Which means that the L.R. is not all that big and roomy, either.
I like the idea of a desk in the dining alcove. I haven't eaten at a table in my home in decades. Always at my desk on the computer, or with a TV folding table watching TV. That's what I do now for dinner with the R.H. So not having a table would be no problem. It especially gets you out of that cooking for company thing. Where would you eat? In the L.R.? Can't have all the guests standing around the kitchen counters trying to have a mean. LOL
I have a question. When someone says "I could live there" are you talking about just you, or you and someone else? Company visiting and staying?
I can see this as a home for one but not two and certainly not for overnight guests. The stuff of two people in a house this small would drive me looney. And all that extra storage would just fill up with junk. OK the vacum cleaner, broom and mop. I Forgot to look for a washer/dryer.
The nook I would make into a reading nook.
This goes back to the basic question that we have been asking. How much space does a person need to be comfortable? Kiihele is building a 400 sq ft home that she will feel comfortable in but I would probably need 800 sq ft. Then that number would need to be increased for two. Two might be able to live as cheaply as one but not in the same amount of space as one.
We also have an on going discussion about guests. Some of us like the smaller is better, no guest home. While others see their home as a gathering place. Totally personal preference.
This house would be enough for one person, from my perspective.
As far as the storage goes. Everybody needs long term storage for Holiday decor and seasonal items. Not all things that need storage are junk.
I think the washer is outside the bathroom.
