DIdn't go to college....should have though and it would had been paid for by someone to help me if I didn't have the money...
I was just happy to make it through highschool... I was put through the group of kids that they didn't think was college material back then...
Wayne Comm College A.S. Started to transfer to Eastern for my B.S.-found out all I could do with that was teach science-a teacher im not! My daughter is a teacher and a great one though. I should have taken art...darn.
Don't feel bad Cheryle. I also did not go to college. I did go through business school. I sometimes feel like I cheated myself, because I would have gone a lot further if I had gone to college. You can not cry over spilt milk. Maybe in my next life, I will be smart enough to take advantage of what is in front of me.
I hated school as a teenager. When I was near 30, I got the urge to better myself so I attended Baker College and received my AB degree in Applied Science. My major was Medical Assistant. I've been employed most of the time since then. I'm still working about 6-8 days per month at our local hospital which is a great addition to my SSI check. It was a very good decision for me.

I wanted to be in Physical Therapy...but all in all, I am quite happy as a mom of all trades and was able to stay home and raise the girls... that's what was more important to me and still is...
And no, I don't cry over spilt milk, as I have achived much more....throught everyday life living & learning with each day...
Our youngest daughter has gone to college twice..Associates in Law Enforment and BA in Management... And oldestest daughter is attending college via the VA where she works....
I have a criminal justice degree.
I didn't like high school so had no desire to go to college and had no ambition anyway. So I got married instead and had kids. Can't undo it, but I wish I'd gone like my 3 siblings. I went to college at 28 and became a lab tech - took 3 years full time - but I only worked in the field for 1.5 years as I found it boring.
Decided at 33 I wanted to be a writer so went to Wayne State. Had to drop out for reasons other than academic.
Once I discovered computers though I found my calling though I didn't get a degree.
