Mia and I took Snickers' ashes to her favorite places this morning.
McPhee Lake, the Dolores River, and the Hawkins Preserve. Her favorite places to hike and swim.
I must share with you how touched I have been with the love and support shared within this group. I feel that you love my dogs nearly as much as I do. Lab lovers are all very special people. May all your labbies enjoy the long blessed life my Snickers did. Thank you all!

Thank you for sharing that with us. No member of this group will ever forget Snickers. Her life's memories are embedded in our hearts and minds never to be forgotten. She will be waiting at the Rainbow Bridge happy and playful as ever.

Snickers has touched all of our hearts. Hearing that you have taken her ashes to her favorite places is so touching. I'm sure she would agree. That is so special. You gave Snickers a wonderful life, Donna. You were a loving mom and she knew you loved her dearly.

Dear friends, I want to make sure everyone reads of my sincere thanks.
You know it going in, DOGS DON'T LIVE LONG ENOUGH. The best we can do is not just feed them, train them, and of course plenty of water....but take them to places they will love. Plan trips around whether they can go too. Buy automobiles with them in mind. Be an active member of your local Humane Society. Snickers visited our local nursing home many times when she was slowing down. I will never forget the smiles on the faces of those elderly folks.

Thank you for sharing the pictures of Snicker's favorite places. It's no wonder that she loved being in by the river, in the fields and the mountains. It looks so peaceful and a fitting place for you to place her ashes. Snickers would be very happy with you choice.

Donna ..... thanks for inviting Neemers and me to this group. I am so sorry for your loss. I know that when the day comes for Neemers to say goodbye, I will be devastated .... but we all enjoy our Labs while they are teaching us about life.
