Butterflies

Ok everyone ----- I did something totally impulsive yesterday (i'm not an impulsive type person) I bought the top of the line Pfaff emboidery machine. I went to one of my favorite quilt shops (which i found out is closing) and they had a machine selling for less than half price (it had been used for a couple of months then traded in for a new babylock). I knew I could never get this machine at this price again.......but man do I have some butterflies about my decision - and - LOL - a good dent in my savings account. I'm thinking it is probably my sewing machine for a lifetime. Now I just have to figure out how to use it. LOL this is definately gonna be a learning curve for me.

I love my Pfaff. I have the Creative Vision and just Love love love it.

Which model did you get? and Congrats you will truly enjoy it I have been a Pfaff girl for years. I think they are great machines. Though it seems most of the world has gone to Bernina.

I bought a used Babylock embroidery machine a while back. It had been used by a woman who actually didn't know anything about sewing. Probably not a good thing. Then when I was in the shop, she came in and bought another Babylock and used her old one as a trade-in.

I have an almost new Bernina 430, but I still use the Babylock for most of my sewing. I too wondered at the time if I was making a good decision, but I love the machine and a years' usage before I got it didn't affect it at all. Sometimes those quick decisions are good.

Pfaff is a great machine...I have a Bernina but I looked at Pfaff very seriously before I bought...you will absolutely love being able to embroider...the most fun I have had is putting "personal" messages on T shirts for friends...I did one for my hubb that says "sleeps with dogs" he wears it proudly...all my grandkids have personalized shirts...I even did flower girl shirts for my daughters wedding rehersal...it's endless
