Welcome & Guidelines for Art Full Living
For those who appreciate the contribution ART in all its forms makes to our lives and those who want to bring more art into their lives.
While the founding members were mostly poets, some of us create in more than one medium and we welcome discussion of all forms of art: It's place in our lives, the work of it and the joy of it.
i came to realize thru a difference of opinion with someone that i consider as art and value greatly any creation that expresses and communicates the human condition, that touches the soul, spirit...that illuminates, enlightens, uplifts. Sometimes art does that by revealing humanity's darkside, the vanities, fears and prejudices.
All too often people think art is some exclusive club, that those who are 'professionals &/or educators' in a forms of it are the only ones who can talk meaningfully about it its role in our lives and the world. Judging from some of the creative profile pages i've seen here on eons...i'm betting they are wrong.
Play nice, discuss/disagree civilly (that's sometimes an art too!). Unsolicited criticism not condoned. But if you want a 'constructive critique' or suggestions...say you have two versions of something and want to see which seems to speak to viewers/readers more...just ask. Whether you are an amateur, professional, educator or 'appreciator' your opinion matters here.
